AUSTRALIAN FREEZE DRIED POWDERS
Milled, freeze dried fruit flesh of the Terminalia ferdinandiana species, a tiny native Australian fruit recognised as the world's highest source of Vitamin C, classifying it as a 'super fruit'.
This unique species grows wild across Australia's harsh northern wilderness : the pristine lands of The Kimberley, Northern Territory and Arnhem Land. For thousands of years, the Kakadu Plum has been used as an important nutritional and traditional medicinal source by the Indigenous people of Northern Australia, due to its health promoting properties - delivering huge stores of antioxidants: Vitamin C, Polyphenols (Ellagic and Gallic acids) and Flavone Glycosides.
The Kakadu Plum is a small, bitter fruit with a waxy skin, resembling an olive. It's pale lime yellow flesh creates a straw coloured, tart flavoured powder full of antioxidants, ideal for flavours, colouring, cosmetic applications and nutraceutical 'superfood' products.
